Why not go directly to the franchisor's instead of going through a consultant?

Why not go directly to the franchisor's instead of going through a consultant?

We use our franchise experience to give you all the relevant information you need while you are investigating franchise ownership and different franchises. We know which franchises are the least risky, most reliable, and that have the potential to be successful. If you are not familiar with this industry, this kind of knowledge could take several months to gather. Because we offer a complimentary consultation, we feel that we are here to save your money, your time and give you peace of mind during a very important decision about your business future.

What are your fees?

What are your fees?

You will not pay for the services that we offer as a franchise consultant - we would receive a commission from a franchisor if you decide to move forward with a franchise that we recommend and introduce you to. You will pay the published price for any franchise just as if you had gone directly to the franchisor. Franchisor's choose to work with Franchise Consultants because they receive quality candidates, that have been vetted and are potentially a good fit for their system. The commissions they pay are essentially part of their franchisee recruitment marketing budget.

How does it work? How will you find the best franchise opportunity for me?

How does it work? How will you find the best franchise opportunity for me?

We want to match you with a business that meets your specific criteria. But we can’t do that unless we know what those criteria are. We learn these criteria by asking you questions designed to help us narrow our search and provide you the best matches.

Here are a few examples of what we might ask:

Why do you want to own your own business?

Have you owned your own business before now?

How many hours and what time of day do you like to work?

Is there a certain location you desire?

How does managing people make you feel?

How comfortable are you with sales, business development and/or networking?

What kind of capital do you have available to start your business?

     Are there partners involved?

When do you want to open your door for business?

Will you be available full-time or part-time?

Once we answer these questions along with many others, we create a personal profile for you and use it to research franchise options. The consultation process makes it easier to match you with a few opportunities that meet your specific criteria. With just a few opportunities to evaluate, you save a lot of time and effort.

There are over 5,000 franchise opportunities available to you. Sifting through them all can take months for a person without our knowledge of the industry. Many people get frustrated and give up. Using our service can help you avoid this situation and put you on the path to owning your own business that has everything you really want.
What are the benefits of buying a franchise?

What are the benefits of buying a franchise?

Owning your own business puts you in control of your own future. But it’s also difficult to do by yourself. When you buy a franchise, the franchisor offers support, experience, and knowledge in all aspects of the business. They have been there so they know what challenges will arise and the best way to overcome them. Good franchisor's provide you with all the tools to be successful. They will train you prior to your opening. They give you advertising and marketing support that builds your business. Most importantly, they reduce your risk because the system has already been proven to work.

One aspect of being a franchise owner that is often underrated is the network of fellow franchisees that you join. This can be hugely valuable - fellow business owners dealing with the same issues day to day, who in good systems will collaborate well to enhance the system and support newer franchisees. Contrast this with starting your own business - while you can join networking groups etc and perhaps find fellow business owners to mentor you, it is difficult to get insight / collaborate with owners in your industry, who are most likely competitors.
Do I need to know the industry to buy the franchise?

Do I need to know the industry to buy the franchise?

Absolutely not. In fact, most companies prefer that you have no experience in the industry prior to owning the franchise. Franchisor's want people that can motivate employees, close sales, and manage efficient operations. They do not want their owners doing the labor, but rather running the business - this could be day to day manager, or more of an executive role, where you manage the managers.
